“ The most amazing little ‘Davy Jones' Locker’ with lots of one of a kind antiques, ocean liner collectibles and originals. The coffee lounge has a great selection of cakes (and they’re not stingy with their slices), various brunch items including vegan and vegetarian options and IMO the best coffee in Brixham. The staff are always friendly and attentive and the owner (Bob) is very knowledgeable, passionate and happy to chat. The USP for me is that they have a policy of no children under 12, but dogs are welcome, which explains the pleasant atmosphere. They even have theme related memorabilia under the glass table tops, walls signed by ex mariners and a carefully curated playlist. P.S. Don’t forget to visit The Engine Room! ”

“ My family and I enjoyed hot drinks and cakes here. The January temperatures were arctic outside but cosy and warm inside. The service was fantastic, the cakes most tasty, and the manager was incredibly kind to my Titanic obsessed son (who devoured every nautical themed wall). A really unique cafe, one that Brixham’s very lucky to have. Highly recommended! ”

I'm so pleased she did as this place us fab-u- Lou's!! Totally unique and crammed full of exhibits and memorabilia from a bygone age. We had a cream tea which was delicious and my visit to the toilet was 'fun' .... Recommend this tearoom, and will be back next time we're in Brixham. ”

“ Stopped by for breakfast and was welcomed by the owner. We ordered the Captain's breakfast, which was very comprehensive. We were served by Elvie who also did the cooking and her service was exemplary. The breakfast was possibly the best I've ever had when eating out. The scrambled egg being the highlight. I highly recommend a visit not just for the food but the fascinating memorabilia on display. ”
